The Snow Joe 24V-X4-SB24 is a cordless two-stage snow blower designed for homeowners who want the capability of a larger self-propelled machine without using gasoline.
The system operates on four 24V IONMAX lithium-ion batteries simultaneously, producing up to 96V MAX. The common complete kit includes four 12.0Ah batteries and two dual-port chargers, allowing all four batteries to be recharged in pairs. Lowe’s confirms this exact 12Ah kit configuration.
Power comes from a 3,200-watt brushless plowing motor combined with a separate 400-watt brushless drive motor. The self-propel system provides variable forward and reverse speeds, reducing the effort required to move the machine through deeper snow. Snow Joe’s technical documentation confirms both motor ratings.
The dual-stage system uses two serrated steel auger blades and clears a path approximately 24 inches wide by 17.5 inches deep in a single pass. Snow is then discharged through a remotely controlled chute with approximately 180 degrees of rotation and a claimed throw distance of up to about 40 feet.
Six integrated 3-watt LED headlights provide additional visibility during early-morning or nighttime snow removal. The control panel brings together chute rotation, lighting, power controls, drive-speed adjustment, and reverse operation.
