The DR Power PREMIER 200 is a tow-behind lawn and leaf vacuum designed to connect to a compatible riding mower and collect grass clippings, leaves, and light yard debris while the lawn is being mowed.
This electric-start version uses a 6.6 HP DR OHV engine with 223cc displacement. The engine powers a high-speed steel impeller that creates the airflow needed to move debris from the mower deck through the vacuum hose and into the collector.
The collector holds approximately 200 gallons, or 27 cubic feet, allowing considerably more material to be gathered before unloading than with a conventional mower bagger. A steel impeller with serrated teeth helps reduce the volume of leaves and debris during collection.
The PREMIER 200 uses a single-point hitch and is designed for compatible right-side-discharge lawn tractors and zero-turn mowers. DR recommends at least 12 HP on very level terrain, with 14 HP or greater preferred for more demanding conditions.
After the collector and vacuum assembly are removed, the underlying trailer can be used separately with loads of up to approximately 500 pounds. The vacuum rides on two large 14-inch pneumatic wheels to help it move across residential lawn surfaces.
The electric-start model also includes a 9-amp battery that recharges during operation, plus a manual recoil backup. This makes starting more convenient while still providing a secondary starting method.
