The Ariens IKON 52 is built for homeowners who want a wider cutting deck, responsive zero-turn control, and a more substantial mower for larger residential properties.
Power comes from a 23 HP Kawasaki FR691V V-Twin engine with 726cc displacement. This engine is paired with dual Hydro-Gear EZT hydrostatic transaxles, allowing each rear wheel to operate independently for precise zero-turn maneuvering around trees, landscaping, fences, and other obstacles.
The mower uses Ariens’ 52-inch ENVY Elite Cutting System, built around an 11-gauge fabricated steel deck approximately 4.5 inches deep. The three-blade design provides a wide cutting path while the fabricated construction gives the deck added strength for regular residential mowing.
Cutting height can be adjusted from 1.5 to 4.5 inches across 13 positions. A foot-operated deck lift assists with deck adjustment, making it easier to change cutting height as lawn conditions change.
The IKON 52 can travel at up to 7 mph forward and approximately 3 mph in reverse, helping reduce mowing time on larger lawns while maintaining the maneuverability of a zero-turn design.
Operator comfort is supported by a tall high-back seat with armrests, premium steering grips, and an open operator area. The mower also uses forged aluminum spindles, electric blade engagement, and a solid tubular frame designed for long-term residential use.
