The Cub Cadet XT1 LT46 is a traditional riding lawn tractor designed for homeowners who want a wider cutting deck, straightforward controls, and comfortable hydrostatic operation for medium-sized residential properties.
It is powered by a 22 HP Kohler 7000 Series KT722 twin-cylinder engine with 747cc displacement. The engine uses full-pressure lubrication and is paired with a foot-controlled hydrostatic transmission, allowing the operator to change speed and direction without manually shifting gears.
The mower features a 46-inch stamped steel deck made from 12-gauge steel. Two blades provide the cutting action, while 12 deck-height positions allow the operator to adjust the mower for different lawn conditions throughout the season.
A 16-inch turning radius gives the XT1 LT46 tighter handling than many conventional lawn tractors, helping it work around trees, landscaping, fences, and other common yard obstacles. Cub Cadet recommends this platform for residential properties of roughly up to 1.5 acres, depending on terrain and mowing conditions.
The mower also includes a 15-inch adjustable high-back seat, cruise control, headlights, deck wash connection, cup holder, and an AGM battery. Its Tuff Torq hydrostatic drive provides forward speeds of up to approximately 5.5 mph and reverse speeds up to 3 mph.
With its 46-inch deck and Kohler V-Twin engine, the XT1 LT46 is a practical option for homeowners looking for a conventional riding mower with a wider cut and easy pedal-controlled operation.
