Power comes from a 26 HP Kohler PRO 7000 KT745 V-Twin engine with 747cc displacement. The air-cooled gasoline engine is paired with dual Hydro-Gear ZT-2200 EZT integrated drive systems, giving each rear wheel independent control for smooth zero-turn maneuvering.
The mower uses a 54-inch fabricated steel cutting deck built from heavy 7-gauge steel with reinforced edges. This welded deck construction is designed for durability while providing a broad cutting path for medium and larger residential lawns.
Cutting height can be adjusted from 1.5 to 4.5 inches using a foot-assisted deck lift and dial-style height adjustment system. The three-blade deck offers 13 cutting positions, making it easier to adapt the mower to different grass heights and lawn conditions.
The MZ Magnum can reach forward speeds of up to 6 mph and reverse speeds of approximately 3 mph. A 5-gallon fuel tank helps reduce refueling stops during longer mowing sessions.
A heavy-gauge welded steel frame, 3/8-inch steel front forks, cushioned adjustable seat, electric PTO, and easy-access controls round out a mower built for practical residential use with commercial-inspired construction.
