The DR Power PRO XLDRT Rear Tine Rototiller is designed for garden preparation, breaking compacted soil, and working established planting areas where a smaller cultivator may not provide enough digging power.
Its biggest advantage is the dual-rotation tine system. For routine cultivation in previously worked soil, the tines can rotate forward with the direction of travel. When harder soil, sod, or compacted ground needs to be broken up, the operator can switch to counter-rotation for more aggressive digging.
Power comes from a 208cc Briggs & Stratton OHV engine producing approximately 9.5 ft-lb of gross torque. The single-cylinder, air-cooled engine uses manual starting and is paired with a chain-drive transmission.
The tiller works across an 18-inch width and can reach a maximum tilling depth of approximately 11 inches. Ten rear-mounted tines handle soil preparation, while the rear-tine layout helps keep the machine balanced during deeper tilling work.
Large 13 x 5-inch pneumatic agricultural tires help the machine move across garden soil and uneven ground. Because the wheels are powered, they pull the tiller forward while the tines work behind them, reducing the amount of force the operator needs to apply compared with a basic front-tine cultivator.
For homeowners preparing vegetable gardens, flower beds, or previously uncultivated ground, the PRO XLDRT provides a practical combination of adjustable tine direction, working depth, and self-propelled traction.
