The Toro Flex-Force 60V MAX 22-Inch Recycler combines cordless operation with the familiar feel of a self-propelled walk-behind mower. It is designed for residential lawn care and uses Toro’s interchangeable 60V Flex-Force battery system, allowing compatible batteries to be shared across other tools in the same platform.
The mower is powered by a brushless electric motor and includes a 6.0Ah lithium-ion battery and charger. Toro rates this configuration for mowing up to approximately one-third of an acre in 40 minutes or less, although actual runtime depends on grass conditions, cutting height, terrain, and operating habits.
Its 22-inch steel Recycler cutting deck provides a wide cutting path for a walk-behind mower. Toro’s Recycler system is designed to repeatedly cut grass clippings into smaller pieces, while Vortex airflow technology increases airflow through the deck during mowing.
The Personal Pace Auto-Drive system automatically responds to the operator’s walking speed instead of requiring a fixed self-propel setting. Rear-wheel drive also helps provide traction during routine residential mowing.
Cutting height can be adjusted from approximately 1 to 4 inches, and the mower supports both recycling and rear-bagging operation. A push-button electric start eliminates pull cords, while SmartStow-compatible vertical storage helps reduce the amount of floor space required when the mower is stored.
The included 60V battery belongs to Toro’s Flex-Force system and can be used with other compatible Toro outdoor power equipment.
